Liquid gold… comes from the earth, sold in barrels, and is heavily monitored by a group that oversees the price, market ,and sale… No, not oil. Maple Syrup. The sticky sweet stuff is over 20 times more expensive than oil, and in 2012 the world would learn of the most expensive heist in Canadian history to this day. This is the story of The Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist.
