In July 1915, thousands of Hawthorne Factory workers gathered at the Chicago River to embark on the annual company picnic. What was supposed to be one of the happiest days of the year; turned to tragedy in a matter of seconds. This week Lindsay tells us exactly what happened that fateful day, the numerous errors that contributed to this disaster, and some paranormal stories.
